Job Summary:
As the Operations Special Projects Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of Operations at Ruggable, focusing on the highest priority initiatives and projects. You will be a creative problem solver and data-driven thinker. Working across multiple areas of Operations, including Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, Sourcing, Procurement, Inventory Management and Strategy, you will take ambiguous operational challenges from initial diagnosis to analysis to implementation. You will help us mature our Operations function as we endeavor to take on new product categories and international markets.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and/or support a variety of mission-critical projects and initiatives within Operations
- Support new product launches and expansions into international markets
- Use data-driven models and analyses to create actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and operational improvements
- Build and maintain Operations tools, KPIs and dashboards to facilitate transparency and rapid decision-making
- Analyze existing Operations processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations and Finance, ensuring change management takes hold across the organization
- Create project management plans and tracking tools to ensure successful and timely project completion
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- 1-3+ years of professional experience working in supply chain, logistics, operations, investment banking or consulting
- Experience conducting quantitative analysis to drive insights and results
- Track record of managing and/or supporting large projects from start to finish, including project management, problem solving and delivering recommendations
- Excellent proficiency with spreadsheets and slides
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience working at a high-growth company
- Experience utilizing and/or building dashboards (ex: Tableau / Looker / Sheets)
- Experience with Google Scripts
