Natural Resources Project Manager
What You'll Do
As a Natural Resource Project Manager, you are smart, strong, and have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude towards your work. You have a passion for wetlands along with other natural resources. You are extremely detail-oriented when conducting your evaluations and assessments. You have great communication skills and are easily able to interact with your team and clients. You are comfortable both out on the field as well as in the office setting writing reports. You get the "big" picture and want to contribute accordingly - and that's why you'll have all the opportunity for career growth within our company you'll want. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:
- Conducting and managing wetland and natural resource projects
- Federal [USACE] and State wetlands regulations and guidelines
- Performing wetland delineations and documentation
- Understanding the regulatory/permitting process
- Performing stream assessments and studies
- Project management, proposal generation and preparation, business development, and managing client relationships

- BS in Natural Resources, Soil Science, Biology, Ecology, Botany, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Professional working experience on natural resource projects
- Professional Wetland Scientist (or in Training), Licensed Soil Scientist (or in Training) a Plus
What We're Looking For
- BS in Biology, Ecology, Botany, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 3-5 years professional working experience on natural resource projects
