Mid-Level Project Management SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyJob ID:00000282434Date Posted:2021-11-05-07:00Location:USA - Seal Beach, CAJob Description Qualifications: The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), MPE (Maintenance Programs Engineering organization has an exciting opportunity for a proactive Mid-Level Project Management Specialist (level 3) to join the team in Seal Beach, CA. This position is expected to be onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This is not a union represented position.Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).
  • Works to improve project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.
  • May lead others and direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.

Work Authorization:The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanentresident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 3+ years of experience in program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role (team lead, project manager).
  • 3+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing projects from Executives or Senior Leadership.
  • 3+ years of experience and/or proficiency in Business Process Modeling, Process Management Skills, Integrated Systems Thinking, Business Case Analysis, Process Improvement Methods, Project Leadership, Building Positive Relationships, and Analytical Skills.
