Position Summary:

Responsible for the overall coordination of MU-America program deployment tasks including financial oversight of PO processes, proactive involvement in improving the Learning Management System (LMS), participation in global and local team meetings, and coordination of learning program development and deployment (scheduling, coordinating prework, organizing and distributing materials, logging participation in the learning management systems, and initiating customer feedback measurement).

Responsibilities:

Coordinate global and local level developmental and functional trainings and organizational effectiveness interventions.

  • Maintain global training calendar and market/promote courses via email and the LP
  • Organize supplies and logistics to ensure that the classes are properly equipped for the upcoming training
  • Provide training support for instructors, vendors, and the end user to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Build and maintain very strong relationship with Marcus' coordinator team, Marion and other Lyon stakeholders focused on improving overall team effectiveness and efficiency (in process, use of technology, and coordination resource optimization)
  • Provide producer services on select engagements. In conjunction with this action, be the Team's training expert to keep aware of the latest in team features and be the first contact for the trainers for Q&A
  • Support the MU academies team on the technical aspects of their deployment (LP, marketing, etc. considerations) and the coordinator support.
  • Serve as proxy for the SLC and Durham training rooms
  • Support the onboarding of two new team members.


Act as a level two EXPERT supporting and engaging on activities with the corporate learning portal team, including being very proactive in influencing the global LP strategy, portfolio of priorities, and making decisions specific to the learning portal strategy and functioning

  • Proactively identify ways in which to leverage LP functionality to enhance team performance
  • Actively engage and influence the global LP team with regard to feature/functionality portfolio of changes
  • Proactively identify and build reports to help inform the Americas learning team of opportunities or gaps in performance
  • Act as the Americas expert in teaching about the LP (team members, partners, etc.) - including acting initially as a mentor to Marcus' coordinator
  • Support employees, managers and functional admins on the self-service functions of the MU Learning Portal.


Manage financial accounting for MU Americas Team including vendor contract management

  • Maintain a strong and productive relationship with the MU controller and our financial partners
  • Organize and execute tracking and follow through regarding vendor PO processes and payment
  • Support the Director in notifying them of PO limits, gaps, and or quarterly spend thresholds
  • Active participation and involvement in Team meetings Active and supportive participant in all MU meetings - Engaged, providing ideas and feedback, and complimenting the great work done
  • Proactively offer to lead and participate in work based in Lyon and Americas.
  • Engaging the Americas team agenda items, active in ideation and brainstorming, and participating on cross-team engagements.
  • Partner closely with group coordinator on process and technology improvement projects.
  • Partner with Director on marketing and communication activities in support of MU Americas
  • Partner with America's team on efforts relating to measurement and manager engagement in the learner experience


Studies and Experience:

  • Extensive experience working with, and acting as an LMS (Learning Management System) administrator
  • High school education minimum
  • Proven experience as a coordinators in a corporate university or college university setting
  • Experience in financial tracking and coordinating of budgets and management of purchase order processes
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Coordinator or Office Coordinator experience


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinator large events (scheduling, vendor management, marketing and communications, scheduling, and project management oversight)
  • Experience with program coordination of executive development programs
  • Offsite program set up and coordination - Catering, contracts, and room booking


Additional Experience and Comfort in Completing the Following Tasks:

  • Working with a global team and adapting to cultural differences
  • Having an innovative/process optimization mindset - always looking for ways to improve our efficiency
  • Willing to travel up to 2 weeks per year
