Job Summary

Effective change management empowers the speed of the business, reduces risk, and enables adoption while strengthening employee connectivity with by designing and delivering a client-centric, friction-free change experience. We are seeking an experienced Change Management Lead to join our highly collaborative organization. We are looking for someone who displays positive intent and is a driver of change, has an agile mentality and is passionate about helping people adapt to change by creating a culture across Barings that embraces organizational transformation. The Change Management Lead will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time by increasing employee adoption and usage and establishing KPI measures to highlight success and areas of growth opportunity. This person will focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures. The Change Management Lead will also serve as a mentor for senior managers and executives to help them perform the role of supporter of change and will ultimately be the beacon for change across the organization. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Management lead will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that affect employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

Please do not confuse Project Management with this role. To be successful we are looking for a seasoned executive that can implement change management strategies to support the critical evolution of the business and achieve desired business results that are sustainable over time while recommending organizational design considerations that create speed and efficiency within rapidly shifting business demands.

Specifically the areas of expertise that we are seeking are Organizational Behavior; Change Strategy & Analytics; Change Leadership & Growth Mindset Development; Leadership Alignment; Customer Experience

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the Change Management Strategy for our transformation initiative
  • Develop a Change Resilience mechanism to measure overall organizations ability to lead through change.
  • Develop a target operating model and governance design for sustaining user adoption, engagement, and user skill and knowledge maintenance
  • Develop end user adoption metrics and strategy for tracking usage and enhanced business performance in support of the business case
  • Apply behavioral tools to assess the impact of change on organizations, using assessments of organizational culture, performance and readiness for change
  • Prepare comprehensive change and workforce transition plans and programs, including strategies to support change and transition initiatives and leadership
  • Applies a structured methodology and lead change management activities as well as a process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • Assess the current state of change activity across all programs; identify strengths and opportunities for improvement and deliver a set of best practice recommendations
  • Change management certification (such as PROSCI) or other designation desirable
  • Collaborate with business owners, process SMEs, and other stakeholders to review the current state against proposed future state processes & systems
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to include change management practices into project plans
  • Creates and implements strategic communications, change management, workforce analytics, and HR technology deliverables including but not limited to slide decks, road maps, organizational design, etc.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Develop training and communication recommendations based on global change management strategy
  • Identifies and expresses the transition and impacts from the viewpoint of individuals, procedures, strategies, and structures through stakeholders
  • Organized, with a natural inclination for both strategic and tactical planning and turn strategy into tangible deliverables.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills, to audiences of varying seniority.
  • Participate in design workshops to assess change impacts, by conducting impact analyses and other change management assessments
  • Past experience with agile delivery models
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Provide guidance to ensure the Transformation change management approach will support the successful, holistic, delivery of the Transformation Program and long-term sustainable outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels within the organization including senior management,
  • Strong understanding of how people journey through change, as well as the change process.
  • Collaborate with other program managers to set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery.
  • Influence design and development of strategic processes.
  • Work with managers and business leaders to support critical communication efforts and impact business initiatives.
  • Manage possible post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, lessons learned) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence.



Qualifications

  • Please do not apply if your background is solely within Project Management.
  • Organizational Psychologists and transformational professionals with operating experience in developing/delivering human centered change strategies for large-scale transformations with a particular preference to achieve adoption
  • 10+ years of experience carrying out change management tasks for sophisticated, global organizations including, but not limited to organizational change, organizational design, business process management, system implementations/upgrades and operational excellence
  • Experience leading the development and delivery of comprehensive, concrete change management and engagement plans for initiatives including change impact assessments, readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, engagement strategies, change agent networks, communication plans and adoption measurement
  • Experience working in a high-paced, project/team oriented, preferably agile environment
  • Excellent leadership skills with an ability to establish and maintain positive relationships; influence partners in written and oral communications and able to work effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding leadership facilitation experience to drive senior-level alignment and adoption
  • Strong shown understanding and experience with change frameworks, methodologies, and tools
  • Experience in large and sophisticated corporate environments running technology and process change efforts including wide range of initiatives such as system implementations, upgrades, process redesign, efficiency tools, organizational change and performance improvement and effectiveness
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (ideally Scrum) and applying Agile Change Management
  • Experience in Investment Platform Change Initiatives.
  • Experience with a full lifecycle of user-based innovation (applying design thinking or UX principles)
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior/Development, Organizational Psychology, Communications or equivalent
