The personalization imperative for Truist revolves around enabling our Marketing efforts with robust client and consumer data, connecting that data to our marketing touchpoints, and communicating effectively to consumers in a timely, relevant manner based on deeply understanding those consumers. This role will help lead day to day project operations around implementing personalized strategies and tactics across Truist's marketing channels. Some responsibilities might include: leading work sessions and related routines; driving planning and detailed project roadmaps, including in-depth team action reports, progress updates, and other documentation. Additionally, the personalization consultant will help to implement personalization-related and other Performance Marketing growth strategies and tactics where appropriate, across online and offline channels (both owned and paid). Ensuring project hygiene and both documenting and managing progress against targets is the primary set of deliverables; the ideal candidate will be able to roll up their sleeves and both accurately track the details as well as help tie back to the big picture. Main KPIs are project related - adherence to deadlines, routine readiness, agile documentation, and others.

  • Manage day to day project routines and ensure appropriate documentation, task assignment and progress monitoring, and follow-ups
  • Plan and prepare appropriate documentation of routines and deliverables, including agendas, action records, minutes, accountabilities, and progress
  • Help manage team member deliverables, including documentation, sequencing, dependencies/ prerequisites, and related objectives
  • Effectively communicate strategies with peers, business partners and marketing leaders
  • Collaborate across the marketing team to enable partnership
  • Help identify new strategic opportunities and growth areas for personalized marketing interactions and journeys
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the consumer behavior and user journeys, and how both are applied to banking products and services
  • Help build and maintain reporting capabilities to establish and track KPIs, and communicate the value of personalization strategies to and tactics to LOBs and senior management
    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
  • Five years of project management or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience managing projects or project work streams as an Individual Contributor
  • Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders
  • Ability to provide direction, and mentor less experienced teammates
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Workfront, Rally, or other workflow tools
  • Agile training and demonstrated ability to apply Agile Marketing methodologies and processes to large enterprise, cross-functional teams
  • Success in keeping stakeholders aware of and aligned to digital marketing strategies and results

Visual / Audio / Speaking
Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding
Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
