Job Description
Our Home Operations Team works relentlessly to ensure that our customer’s homes meet investment-grade criteria, both for the company and for our future homeowners. We commit to making the home renovation and maintenance process an exciting and successful experience for the customer and contractor. We are doing it at scale, growing every month, and constantly developing methods and technologies to improve our processes. In your role as Market Construction Associate, you will report to the Regional Construction Manager of Atlanta and assist with the day-to-day construction operations in Atlanta. You will be collaborating with internal teams, always looking for ways to improve processes and elevate the Divvy customer experience to the next level. Your mission is to ensure construction projects are performed on time, on budget and according to the Divvy standard of quality. This includes oversight of all vendors and general contractor relationships. You will serve as the company’s representative on the worksite in dealings with subcontractors, suppliers and inspectors while ensuring compliance with all safety and building codes. You will perform periodic quality control visits with contractors on move-in repair and home turnkey projects, review scopes of work and change orders requests, perform final inspection and approve payments based on quality, scheduling and Divvy optimal pricing.
Responsibilities
● Execute on day to day construction operations, including stakeholder coordination, communication, and issue resolution
● Schedule and coordinate quality assurance inspections with vendors on move in repair, home turns and insurance claims
● Strive to meet and beat construction KPI’s related to vendor scheduling and work order durations, quality of work and the customer experience
● Implement and monitor construction schedules, scopes of work, budgets, and review change orders within Divvy’s optimal pricing
● Deliver a top tier customer experience, communicating effectively and on time with vendors, customers and internal team
● Develop and manage internal feedback loops with a goal of continuous process and procedure improvements, always understanding the need for continued growth and advancement
Experience
● BA preferred
● You have 3-5 years of experience in construction management, project coordination, building & materials
● You have 3-5 years of experience in the single family residential, multi family or commercial spaces
● You have 3+ years with Microsoft Products and Google Suite Products
● You are able to manage presentations using slide decks
● You have a GA Driver’s License willing to travel locally a few times a week
