What you’ll do:

  • Manage a team of 6-8 technical project managers with the primary responsibility of integrating new clients onto the platform and enhancing service offerings for existing clients. 
  • Problem solving - You enjoy problem solving, and finding creative solutions to challenges. You will use your experience leading large, complex projects to identify risks, and stay ahead of challenges with detailed plans
  • Client focus - you have a passion to drive high performing teams to deliver an outstanding client experience
  • Lead and mentor team members to achieve improvement in their technical capabilities and business acumen on the Galileo platform
  • Ensure the team works in alignment with Galileo implementation methodology, remains aligned with best technical practices, and documents new setups
  • Ownership and accountability of your team’s deliverables on projects, including scheduling, estimating, scoping, quality, and execution
  • Develop new processes, procedures and methods to support scale and growth within the organization
  • Participate in cross-functional coordination, planning, architecture discussions, and reviews with leads from other engineering teams and banking partners

What you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Banking or payments industry experience 
  • 5+ years experience in customer-facing large-scale, enterprise project delivery/management roles
  • Proven ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver multiple, complex projects on time
  • High level of comfort with technology, product, legal, B2B technology applications and how technology platforms serve customer businesses
  • Confident leader, team player, flexible, and resourceful, who is able to work independently and live the Galileo/SoFi values
