Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology).
Your unit's main priorities are flawless execution of System programs including Network Management & Optimization and attached services.

What you will learn and contribute to

To support the MN Supply Chain RF BB AMER is hiring a Supply Chain Program Manager for Radio Development programs, with the primary location in Dallas, TX USA, This position will cross-functionally lead a regional team with people in USA, Mexico and other locations at times.

Your skills and experience

This position will have three major tasks:.

1. Partnering with other Supply Chain locations and Business Line R&D to manage day to day supply chain issues in NPI and ongoing production, and develop long term supply chain strategies. To do this, the team works cross functionally with the R&D Engineering, Product Management, and other Supply Chain Functions and supplier partners at Tier 1 and Tier 2.

2. Driving new product introduction projects into the MN Supply Chain. This is a core responsibility of the MN RF BB - Small Cells and RF DU AMER direct team. This team has Product Engineers, Test Engineers, New Product & Maintenance - Delivery Capability Managers, Test Engineers, Program Buyers and others to complete these tasks.

3. Managing the product life cycle. This includes understanding current business conditions such as forecast, key customer issues and market conditions. In addition, the team manager may lead teams on Value Engineering cost reduction, Continuous Quality Improvement and End of Life Product Planning.

Summary of High Level Responsibilities:
• Establish, drive and influence business partnership within SCPE and Business Line R&D as required.
• Facilitation between BL, Supply Chain functions and suppliers to ensure business alignment
• Product / Platform Supply Chain Readiness
• Ensure Product is ready for Manufacturing (DFx)
• Long range planning for cost and quality performance
• Measured by product line performance (Cost, Quality, Delivery and DFx)
• Build an integrated team to manage product throughout lifecycle
• Represent SCPE, active participant in Supply Chain initiatives

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Requires BA/BS or equivalent in Technical Degree. MS or MBA degree preferred.

Strong manufacturing and new product introduction experience - RF Products preferred.

Management and international experience strongly desired

Desired Skills & Experience
• Contract mfg process technologies (component, PCB fabrication & PCB assembly and integration) of electronic products
• Knowledge of product design and familiarity with Design for Test (DfT) tools, process and application (e.g. Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Design of Experiments, Computer Design and Simulation, etc.)
• Familiarity with new product introduction processes (prototype development, validation and release) and tools
• Managing product quality, failure analysis and problem isolation/resolution
• ODM/OEM/JDM engagement, capability analysis and execution
• Strategic planning and execution
• Track record of cross-functional influence and quality leadership

5+ years experience

Demonstrated Capabilities:
• Ability to collaborate and work with a globally dispersed technical workforce
• Identify & drive solutions in ambiguous and complex situations
• Demonstrated acumen in utilizing engineering judgment and problem solving
• Must be a results oriented, self-starter, possess excellent organization skills, and have the aptitude to define operational requirements and design and implement processes and systems to support those requirements
• Familiar with Project Management Principles .
• Able to work with and influence Electrical Designers, Product Engineers and Contract Manufacturers to make design, documentation, DfT, fault resolution or process improvement changes.
• Provide Leadership and vision to a community of skilled engineers and program managers
• simultaneously drive programs and initiatives while coaching and developing resources at individual and management levels
• Initiates informal reviews of ideas and technical objectives within and across business units, and shares and promotes "best practices"
• Resolves conflicts by fostering teamwork and strong communications.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communications skills - English
• People or Team management experience strongly desired
