Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is looking for a Manager of Project Management that is passionate about leading and developing others. A successful Manager will lead their team to exercise ownership and accountability of their projects by driving to the project schedule, project financials, and building mutually beneficial customer relationships. This individual will also help develop and implement strategic improvement initiatives within the project management team. This role will report to the Director of Project Execution.

This can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference at one of the following locations: Tulsa, Wichita, Houston

The Manager of Project Management will lead a regional team of project managers. The Manager will be responsible for driving delivery of profitable, high-quality projects on-time. This person will provide direct leadership of Project Managers that execute Combustion, Heat Transfer, or Mass Transfer equipment projects with the goal of attaining and fostering execution excellence in the eyes of our customers.
What You Will Do In Your Roll

  • Identify, develop, and retain top tier project managers
  • Establish and maintain a culture of expectation, connecting individuals to team performance (customer management, schedule, and budget) through effective and proactive Key Performance Indicators aligned with company vision
  • Develop an open communication culture between Project Management and all other cross-functional teams to maximize customer and company value
  • Constant pursuit of self-improvement aligned with company vision paired with aligned metrics to drive self-accountability


The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

  • Experience leading others and driving accountability through established Key Performance Indicators
  • Experience in leading teams through complex problem solving
  • Experience driving business results by leading and developing others
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience managing external customers
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience with Critical Chain Project Management or Demand Driven Operating Model methodology
