Manager, Program Management III, Vendor Compliance
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, dedicated Manager of Vendor Compliance to join our exciting and fast-paced team in Dania Beach, FL. This manager will lead a team focused on improving vendor compliance and performance across key operational metrics. A successful candidate will have retail/eCommerce supply chain background, be process-oriented and be able to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendor partners. This individual must be highly motivated, team focused, organized and detail oriented and must possess solid analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. You'll get to work side by side with smart, passionate, and highly motivated entrepreneurs. You will be involved in many aspects of building the business and will not be limited by the small-minded bureaucracy typically found in larger companies. What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of talented Vendor Compliance Analysts
- Manage key vendor relationships as it relates to inbound compliance
- Partner with Fulfillment Center Operations, Supply Planning, Transportation, and Merchandising teams to build programs to drive efficiencies in inbound supply chain thereby reducing cost
- Project Management – build and facilitate project plans for vendor compliance programs such as Inbound Defects, Damages, Overages, etc.
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimization and automation in critical vendor compliance programs
- Build tools, dashboards and reporting to drive action and analysis for safe, efficient, and cost-effective Inbound Operations
- Enforces vendor facing programs and policies both with internal and external partners
- Lead internal and external trainings
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain
- 5+ years of experience in vendor facing roles
- Facilitation experience at all levels of the organization; must be comfortable addressing both large and small audiences
- Ability to think and perform strategically and tactically
- MS Excel skillset (Pivot Tables, vlookup, Macros, Data Manipulation, Formulas etc.)
- Previous experience with writing SQL queries and building reports in Tableau
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- E-commerce background is a plus
- Position may require travel
