About the Role
Dandy is hiring a Business Operations and Program Manager to build systems and processes as we scale our managed dental marketplace. Our business involves a diverse constituency of stakeholders, and the Business Operations and Program Manager will work to build the infrastructure that brings our various business units together as we scale. This role will work cross-functionally to help define, deliver and communicate on Dandy’s top priorities. You’ll be expected to focus on breaking down complex problems, anticipating bottlenecks, and balancing speed vs accuracy while communicating up and down the company. This role will report directly to the Chief of Staff.
What You'll Do
- Solve for scale: help build, support and refine company-wide operating rhythms across all aspects of the business
- Work directly with senior leadership to drive alignment in setting the priorities of the business
- Lead company efforts, including but not limited to setting Quarterly OKRs, establishing the operating cadence across the organization, and synthesizing metrics / initiatives to support Dandy’s priorities
- Build decision-making frameworks to ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment of senior leadership - including but not limited to setting Quarterly OKRs, establishing the operating cadence across the organization, and synthesizing metrics / initiatives to support Dandy’s priorities
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface, diagnose root causes and propose changes to systems and processes
- Develop metrics aligned with business objectives and work with various teams to drive hyper growth
- Leverage disparate data sources to drive strategic decision making
- Install feedback loops to identify opportunities for improvement and lead continuous improvement efforts
- Nurture a culture of extreme ownership, accountability, and high performance that empowers the Dandy team to thrive
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience in business operations, analytics, consulting, or operations roles
- Strong program and/or project management skills to drive multiple initiatives in an environment with limited supervision
- Strong operational and business acumen with extensive experience using tools like Tableau / Looker / Excel to analyze performance and drive strategic decision making
- Clear and effective communicator; able to simplify complex problems
- Extremely high level of attention to detail
- Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
- Track record of success in building new operational processes and an ability to work through ambiguity
- Experience navigating matrixed business organizations and negotiating optimal solutions across cross-functional teams
- Intellectual curiosity and research abilities
