Job Description

Construction affects the lives of nearly everyone in the world. It’s a $10T global industry, employing 7% of the world’s population. However, it’s also one of the world’s least digitized industries. Construction is in need of transformation, and Procore is right at the forefront. Will you join our journey?

With 7+ acquisitions in the last 3 years, we’re looking for a Merger & Acquisition Integration Manager to continue scaling and enabling integration initiatives on our Corporate Development team. You will play an instrumental role in supporting the due diligence, integration planning, and execution phases of strategic acquisitions, both in the U.S. and internationally. As an Integration Manager, you will help plan integration strategies, coordinate company-wide integration activities, manage progress reporting, realize and accelerate deal value, and manage priorities across internal and external cross-functional teams.

You will join a small, high-performing, fast-paced Corporate Development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help us build out and implement best-in-class integration approaches and playbooks to elevate our processes across Corporate Development and our cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

This position reports to the Director, M&A Integrations, and will be based in our Austin or Carpinteria offices. Remote candidates will be considered. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Support acquisition integrations globally, from due diligence through integration planning, integration execution, reporting on deal progress / success of value drivers, to building/refining the M&A playbook.

  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across Procore (GTM, People, Finance, Legal, Product, Engineering, IT, etc.) to develop their detailed integration plans and milestones.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure critical milestones are met, actively identify and solve cross-functional integration issues, and escalate any risks to the integration plan and timeline.

  • Spot and creatively solve complex, cross-functional operational issues, often unique to each deal.

  • Drive core internal projects related to M&A deal integration planning and performance measurement.

  • Celebrate wins, share risks and report to stakeholders on deal progress (e.g., Program Status Reports, Executive Reports, Board of Directors Memos)

  • Conduct deal retrospectives to identify and implement improvements to our acquisition integration processes. Assist in building and refining a repeatable M&A process and integration playbook that can support a high volume of M&A activity for the entire deal lifecycle through deal execution, integration management, and ongoing measurement.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional groups 3+ years experience in M&A integration or project management roles

  • Bachelor's Degree and experience in software preferred.

  • Proven program management skills in organizing and facilitating cross-functional projects while managing multiple work streams simultaneously.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary to share deliverables and project milestones at both the individual employee and executive level.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build a strong rapport with extended teams within the acquired organization, and be comfortable in interacting with and presenting to senior business leaders in both acquired entities and at Procore.

  • Ability to distill complex problems into actionable plans while influencing and collaborating with execution teams to drive successful integration plans.

  • Agile and problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to quickly establish credibility, build close working relationships throughout the organization, motivate, collaborate, and work successfully in a team environment.

  • Ability and willingness to travel (domestic and international).
