The Role:

- As a Localization Program Manager, you will drive product and other cross-functional teams to deliver a great customer experience to our international audience.

- You will be building the localization program at ClickUp, so you need to be adept at building systems & processes that will scale over time.

- Oversee end-to-end localization workflows with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Support, Customer Success, etc.) to launch successful localized customer experiences.

- Proactively identify and prioritize technical and process issues that affect localized product relevancy, quality, and functionality.

- Partner with vendors to ensure that the right resources are in place and all deliveries are completed at the expected standards.

- Manage each step of the localization process and adapt it to a continuous Lean delivery pipeline (CI/CD).

- Coordinate freelancers, localization vendors, linguists, subject-matter experts, and internal stakeholders.

- Proactively assess project risks through prioritization and linguistic quality assurance (LQA).

- Balance translation costs and budgets in close partnership with Sales & Product.

- Explore, assess, and select relevant technologies to make localization more efficient and less costly.

- Define the most relevant KPIs, monitor the metrics and provide inputs for ROI assessment on localization investments.

- Launch the marketing and legal localization initiatives while considering cultural specificities.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years experience as a Localization Program Manager or Project Manager.

- 3+ years as a manager of a technical team.

- Experience with translation management systems (TMS) and project management apps.

- Experience localizing customer experiences into French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, etc.

- Experience with Lean-Agile practices.

- Experience working with teams building highly-distributed, large-scale solutions.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
