About the team:
Our Enterprise Lean Agile Center of Excellence is striving to realize the true value of Business Agility through the exploration and implementation of Scaled Agile Framework and our FIS Agile Ways of Working. Our goals are to improve our company's business outcomes around delivery predictability, quality, speed of delivery and employee engagement. We use a data driven approach leveraging maturity assessments and metrics to drive improvements.
About the position:
The LACE Leader role is a key leadership role responsible for interacting with our customers, mentoring/managing our Agile Coaches and driving relentless improvement in our FIS Agile Ways of Working. Here are some specifics around the role:
• Engage with Business Owners to demonstrate and validate our program's value delivery
• Continuous improve the Coaching Engagement model ensuring a standard, consistent interaction for customers
• Drive exploration into more mature areas (DevOps, LPM, Agile Arch) to reach TechNext vision
• Manage and develop the skills and competencies of our LACE Coaches and Delivery team members
What you bring:
• Experience of working in a SAFe agile development environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Experience of working with offshore delivery teams
• Requires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
• Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products
• Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner
• Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner
• Team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization, internally and externally
• Requires strong time management skills, attention to detail and must be resourceful
• Analytical, problem solving skills
• At least 5 years' experience in coaching, team building and group facilitation
• At least 5 years' experience in Scrum, SAFE, DevOps, Kanban, Lean and of Systems Thinking
What you will be doing:
• Facilitate Coaching best practices to improve collaboration, continuous improvement and uniformity
• Set standards on metrics for coaches to measure performance and delivery
• Develop and manage Coaching Performance Dashboard
• Conduct people management activities including feedback and reviews
• Align delivery outcomes ensuring we meet our customers' needs
• Improve collaboration, communication across LACE
• Continuously driving process improvements across LACE organization
• Ensure updates to content on Ways of Working (WOW) site to optimize content and ensure consistent use across all coaching engagements
• Creation of Coaching and engagement model standards, process and continuous improvement
• Maintain governance of coaching engagements including assignments, coaching artifacts and other resources such as coaching assessments
• Contribute to building LACE Roadmap to encompass our current and future Coaching Engagements
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture organization to align on Agile Architecture competencies
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management organization on the evolution and alignment to Lean Portfolio Management practices
• Align with DevOps leadership around strategy and our engagement approach
• Collaborate with Product Organization to align Product Management competencies across FIS
