The Revenue Operations team is seeking a highly strategic, quantitative, process and detail-oriented Program Manager to help increase sales productivity, efficiency and velocity by leading a variety of Revenue Operations initiatives from planning to completion. This role will work cross functionally with Sales Leaders, Finance, IT, Business Transformation, Product and Marketing to execute on critical initiatives for the business.

In your role as a Program Manager, you will be a key partner to the business delivering against three core functions: 1) Core operations (e.g. planning, metrics, and rhythm of business), 2) Strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and 3) Organizational enablement through analytics, process improvements and tools.

 

Sample projects include leading our annual sales capacity planning, annual territory and compensation program management, driving organizational design conversation, and leading the development of our global sales methodology implementation.

Role responsibilities....

  • Own the organizational, operating, and execution strategy for Program Management within the Revenue and Operations Organizations
  • Design, lead, and implement high-impact strategic initiatives to drive process and planning improvements across the Revenue Organization
  • Form and manage cross-functional project teams. Plan, organizing, managing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • Partner with communications, enablement, sales operations, IT and other key operational experts across the business to lead, support, and influence new business initiatives
  • Create program management mechanisms, like intake processes, scoping criteria, and prioritization of initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of program strategy for each initiative, track key milestones and communicate strategy with Planning and Operations Leaders and relevant stakeholders; fully own progress against targets
  • Conduct business readiness assessments, evaluate results, and develop plans to ensure business is prepared for upcoming technology and tooling changes
  • Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
  • Build strong partnerships with internal & external stakeholders to drive adoption and deliver desired business outcomes
  • Identify and structure high priority programs by working with business stakeholders, managing communications, overseeing milestones, timelines and leading cross-functional groups to synthesize feedback and deliver on objectives
  • Manage programs of fast-moving projects in a complex hyper growth environment to support the strategic direction of the organization
  • Lead program planning by defining business requirements, developing timelines, dependency mapping, resourcing, and removing obstacles to project completion
  • Establish a regular operating cadence with cross-functional teams to track, communicate, and drive towards set program goals and KPIs. Identify key roadblocks to progress, and work efficiently to remove them
  • Own communications with key stakeholders to easily and transparently surface issues and decisions
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of program and project status
  • Allocate and prioritize company resources as they pertain to individual programs and departments
  • Collaborate with other PMO leaders to build standard processes and best practices across the organization
  • Improve operational excellence and create efficiency and simplicity by removing obstacles. 

Skills....

  • 10+ years of work experience in program or project management in technology companies
  • 4+ years of people management and Operations experience working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience working with revenue focused teams including but not limited to Marketing, Sales, Business Development, People, Talent Acquisition, HR, and Monetization
  • Deep knowledge of project, program, and portfolio management in dynamic environments
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute within a high-pressure environment
  • Adaptable to changing requirements and business needs
  • Capable of juggling multiple programs simultaneously while motivating, encouraging, and ensuring cooperation among team members
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Experience presenting business and technical content to peers and general audiences
  • Experience leading and influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge of organizational dynamics, change management, and process improvement

We'd love it if you also had....

  • Experience working in a global commercial organization working across Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, etc.
  • Experience working with or in support of many different business units, in various regions with specific cultural needs, including partner orgs where revenue is not the primary KPI
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment

Although the posting says Redwood City, this role can be based anywhere in the US.
