Lead Program Manager

We are seeking a highly organized, goal-oriented Lead Program Manager to join our organization. As the Lead Program Manager, you will be responsible for aligning and completing one or more large, complex technical programs consisting of multiple efforts. In this position, you will lead and coordinate various projects and critical initiatives across our organization. You will outline the program's goals and objectives while acting as a liaison between program staff and senior leaders. The Lead Program Manager will drive a consistent, standardized project management approach to include planning, tracking, executing and reporting of various projects that achieve strategic goals and business objectives for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for defining the program structure and creating a single, unified plan to deliver on the objectives that align with the overall business measurements
- Drives for clarity and transparency between all team members, leadership and partners on objectives, priorities and measures.
- Accountable for program/project status communications with leadership and partners across the enterprise.
- Escalation point for program/project risks and issues and removes impediments and blockers for the team.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to help the teams operate effectively and efficiently.
- Makes connections across teams and work streams to drive identification and facilitation of interdependencies.
- Assist senior leadership in developing team roadmaps.
- Champions adoption of project delivery standard methodologies and provides guidance to the team, leadership and partners.
- Develops, implements and enforces PMO standard methodologies and helps to shape and advance operating model
- Evaluate, monitor and improve program level and project management processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- A minimum of 9 years of professional experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of project management experience in technology and/or business functions.
- Experience with Waterfall Project Management methodology and tooling.
- Understanding of SAFe Agile methodology and tooling.
