Lead Program Manager - Tech Portfolio Operations

Summary
The Lead Program Manager - Tech Portfolio Operations role will be strategizing with teams across the Technology organization to operationalize new program and portfolio management standards. The ideal candidate will be able to advise teams on portfolio and program management processes as well as tool usage, using our Jira and Jira Align standards we've already defined and continue to evolve.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing experienced guidance and coaching to Technology delivery teams on portfolio and program management standards and best policies.
- Responsible for partnering with the PMCOE and essential team members to define and implement new standards and best policies.
- Makes all the work in the Tech org open within our reporting tools and processes.
- Drives for visibility on objectives, priorities and measures.
- Accountable for identifying, assessing and mitigating program risks and issues, and removing impediments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience with Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) and agile processes and tooling (Jira Align and Jira) highly preferred
- Five or more years of program management experience in technology and/or business functions. Experience with program management methodologies & governance.
- Understands how software is developed, tested and implemented as well as technical concepts.
- Ability to work closely with engineers, product managers and business leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to dig into details, learn, ask questions and become the ""go to expert"" on certain concepts and topics.
- Experience with project management methodologies or SDLC (systems development life cycle)
- Must have experience with managing multiple projects using Agile methodology
