Lead Program Manager, Field Ops Integration
The Lead Program Manager for Field Ops Integration is responsible for partnering with multiple internal business units in order to design and implement new business initiatives into the core operations structure at Gopuff. This role will function as the interface between new business verticals and existing customer facing operations. Gopuff continues to make bold bets to improve the customer experience and solve everyday challenges to improve the lives of our customers. This role will be a key catalyst to ensure that new innovations go from concept to incubation to core operations efficiently and seamlessly.
Duties:
- Build relationships with internal business leaders, program managers, product teams and operations leadership to execute complex projects that provide important business capabilities
- Manage the integration lifecycle of large-scale, high-profile operations processes that are critical to the success of the business
- Gather requirements, set up project plans, identify risks, resolve project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution pathsUse data to back up assumptions, make recommendations, guide next steps, and measure success
- Communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization
- Evaluate and refine processes to ensure they are efficient and scalable
- Balance strategic vision of new business offerings with precise tactical execution in the field
- Assist Sr. Program Manager with building out the program leadership support team needed to achieve business integration goals
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent at prioritization, organization and project management
- Be proactive in communicating project risks with confidence and a clearly articulated project impact
- Comfortable working in fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited direction
- Detail and process-oriented while also bringing creative solutions to new challenges
- Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives.
- Multitasking and high organizational skills required.
- Comfortable addressing challenges with ambiguous or incomplete information.
- Have the maturity to maintain confidentiality and discretion, and know when to escalate to the right stakeholders, as you will be in the middle of everything.
- Initiative and bias for action, on-time delivery, and operational excellence.
- Flexible and very comfortable with ambiguity and change.
Requirements:
- 7+ years leading teams in Operations, Engineering and/or Program Management
- Strong technical background and program management expertise
- Executive level communication, with an emphasis on written skillsSystems thinker and a quantitative approach to problem solving
- Deep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability and results
- Excellent cross-team collaboration, able to work across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done
- Experience using and configuring program management and resource management tools such as Smartsheet, Lucidchart, Airtable, Asana and JIRA or other program management or agile/scrum tools and frameworks
- This position will work remote and require travel up to 50% of the time
