Position Description

The IT Project Manager is expected to manage enterprise-wide work streams that impact multiple domains and BUs. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for partnering with multiple business groups and stakeholders to coordinate, evaluate, develop and implement operational, administrative and technical programs and procedures for the Infrastructure, Engineering and Operations Team. These responsibilities may include program scope definition and refinement, milestone development and reporting, tracking of program KPIs, understanding of financials (CapEx, OpEx), validate resource capacity, develop reporting program dashboards on status and progress. The IT Project Manager is expected to proactively identify and raise awareness on risks and delays associated with the project as well as effectively communicate all aspects of the project with Leadership. The IT Project Manager will develop a deep understanding of the business impacts of the project and the business benefits to the Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of business cases for internal strategic programs
  • Provide strategic direction for all aspects of delivery of a process
  • Developing project plans, set deadlines and coordinate activities
  • Works with cross-functional teams to develop and coordinate all Programs scope and key objectives
  • Provides operations guidance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Engages with the appropriate technical SMEs to define deliverables and milestones
  • Define deliverables and milestones while identifies critical path and dependencies to other ongoing initiatives
  • Strong coordination and planning skills and develops the appropriate governance to generate the expected Program outcome and identify program risks and possible mitigations
  • Ability to work closely with Process Owners and other key stakeholders to communicate progress
  • Provide regular program status updates to external stakeholders and IE&O Senior Leadership



Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 years of industry related work experience
  • 3-5 years of project management or operational experience (PMP/PgMP designation an asset)



Critical Skills

  • Experience with system implementations
  • Experience conducting presentations and training
  • Advanced application software skills including but not limited to presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing applications
  • Knowledge of Jira, Remedy, ServiceNow, Snowflake
  • Knowledge of Agile
  • Detail oriented and highly organized while working well in a team centered environment as well as the ability to work independently
  • Strong Excel, Smartsheet, Access, Word, Tableau, PowerBI, Smartsheet, Project & PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of management



Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • PMP certification
  • BA and Business Process certification



Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business. Technical or Healthcare related field preferred
