Position Summary:

IT Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating projects between teams in the Information Technology department and leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams; ensuring successful implementation of initiatives requiring technical support that is in line with the company's short- and long-term goals to ultimately help fulfill our mission to positively impact the health and wellness of those we serve in our community. IT Project Manager together with IT Leadership will work collaboratively across the enterprise for the union of people, process, and products to enable continuous delivery of value to our end users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year College or university or 7 years' experience in IT Project Management
  • Scrum Master (CSM) Certification (Preferred) or PMP Certification or the minimum equivalent of 7 years' experience
  • Knowledgeable of Medicaid state and federal regulations
  • Minimum of five (5) years' hands on experience in Scrum Methodology or other Agile methodologies
  • Minimum of three (3) years' hands on experience in Azure DevOps (Preferred)

    • Value Stream Maps, Kanban Boards, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups (Scrum), Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective


  • Experience participating in all stages of IT project development cycle (planning, design, implementation, and testing)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads Project planning and management for the IT department using the Scrum Methodology or other Agile methodologies via DevOps
  • Leads projects and initiatives ensuring that goals, scope, and product features are understandable; responsible for the techniques for effective Product Backlog management and understands, practices, and promotes agility and removes impediments to the progress
  • Keeping internal and external project teams committed, motivated and productive through the duration of the project
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and steer project-specific meetings; create and maintain project specific documents (status sheets and roadmaps); Lead retrospectives, planning, and tracking velocity of work (sprints) towards releases; set expectations for meetings, internal and external communications, deliverables, go-live; drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
  • Develops an understanding of each business department's role within the company and work closely with management teams to determine need and advise where IT might make a difference
  • Preparing comprehensive project timelines, agendas, milestones, and charters
  • Defining project baselines, tracking project progress, project status reporting that measures results, making changes as needed based on observations and oversight of risk assessments
  • Controlling time management (define activity, sequence activity, estimate the duration of activity, develop a schedule, maintain a schedule)
  • Responsible for targeting completion of process improvement projects within a specified time frame while achieving a cost reduction goal
  • Partners with IT leaders, Business units and respective key stakeholders to take ownership of data through data governance processes
  • Responsible for targeting completion of projects within a specified time frame while adhering to the projected budget and providing status reports of financial status of project
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

Skills and Abilities:

  • Motivational project management with a high level of energy, sense of urgency, creativity, and decisiveness with the ability to balance the above under pressure
  • Ability to manage projects via Azure DevOps by building Value Stream Maps and Kanban Boards to bring visibility to planned and unplanned work; performing Sprint Planning (developing the scope of work to be performed); assisting with Daily Scrum sessions (work planning for the next twenty-four hours and assessment of work performed); assisting in Sprint Review (inspection of the work done and presentation of the finished part of the product) and assisting in Sprint Retrospective (work inspection and plan improvement)
  • Proven strong project management skills within a team, providing and receiving constructive criticism. Strong project management skills and clear understanding of methodologies and best practices
  • Well-organized, action and results oriented team player with exceptional time management skills to support multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with excellence in planning and execution
  • Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop, and execute strategies, and track and measure results with high attention to detail and able to prioritize
  • Ability to communicate the benefits, drawbacks, usefulness, and effectiveness of various technologies using "non-technical" language
  • Ability to combine strong analytical skills with business knowledge to develop rapport with key customers in the business and approach every challenge with a customer-centric view
  • Excellent presentation skills with effective communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written
  • Ensure systems comply with HIPPA and HITECH regulations



WORK SCHEDULE:

As a continued effort to provide a safe and productive work environment, Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. Staff are able to work from home 3 days a week and will report to the office 2 days a week. *****The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs.
