Description

Koch Global Services (KGS) is seeking an IT Project Manager to add to their growing organization within the Koch Capability Transformation Team. The project manager will define the scope and objectives of a project in collaboration with the project stakeholders. They will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of project outcomes and goals. They will monitor the progress of the project, make any necessary adjustments, and review the quality of the completed work on a regular basis. This individual will support moderately complex to highly complex transformation and technology projects that are applications-based in support of our product and capability teams.
What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Defining the project approach, roles, tasks, milestones, costs and measures of success
  • Assist in developing project estimates and plans to manage the end-to-end project execution
  • Ensuring customer requirements are captured accurately and completely
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation
  • Tracking project deliveries using project management tools
  • Facilitating the day-to-day coordination while adhering to standards and sponsor expectations
  • Ensuring project closure including completion of required documentation in data repository and customer follow up
  • Responsible for tracking project status and managing project issues and risks
  • Monitoring projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress/quality, managing issue resolution
  • Managing the process to assess gaps and develop action plans to address these gaps
  • Analyzing financial reports and trends to identify opportunities and resolve issues
  • Promoting and monitoring compliance and information security risk
  • Adapting to cultural and organizational climates across global teams
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to leaders and stakeholders
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
  • Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential
  • Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members
  • Mitigates team conflict and communication problems

  • Experience managing relationships across multiple business divisions to meet project deliverables
  • Experience managing projects from conception to completion
  • Experience facilitating project meetings
  • Experience presenting to senior leaders

Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. If you have questions, please speak to your recruiter about the flexibility and detail of our compensation philosophy.

For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 - $130,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
