Overview
ERT is looking to hire an IT Project Manager. In this role you will take full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects (typically with direct business impact and firm deadlines). The IT Project Manager is responsible for enforcing standards of practice for IT project management, and leads efforts within their projects to adopt industry standard process frameworks and tools, drive organizational structures to optimize value delivery, and facilitate continuous improvement efforts with regards to quality system processes and culture.
Responsibilities
Our IT Project Manager
- Applies appropriate project management methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
- Agrees to project approach with stakeholders, and prepares realistic plans (including quality, risk and communications plans) and tracks activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
- Prepares and assesses project plans to determine schedule, cost, equipment and staffing requirements and makes adjustments as necessary.
- Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
- Ensures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are recorded.
- Takes responsibility for the provision of support services to projects.
- Uses and recommends project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking projects.
- Sets up and provides detailed guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
- Supports program or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
- Provides basic guidance on individual project proposals.
- May be involved in aspects of supporting a program by providing a cross program view on risk, change, quality, finance, or configuration management.
- Assures that Product and Development Lifecycle processes as determined by ERT'sQuality Management System are followed and ensures all phases, deliverables and artifacts are systematically prepared on time.
- Domestic and International travel expected to facilitate global engineering teams.

Qualifications
What we seek -
- BA, BS or equivalent. PMP preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience managing the building and delivery of scalable, high-performance, reliable, highly available distributed information technology systems.
- 3-5 years' experience managing a cross-functional matrix of product management, engineering leadership, engineering and information technology resources.
- Experience with network security and/or deployment of cloud based networking solutions preferred.
- Basic experience in GxP documentation especially in project initialization and engineering documentation.
- Proven ability to effectively manage projects using modern project management tools and techniques.
- Produce high quality results and drive forward progress while managing deadlines.
