Opportunity:
Point B is looking for IT Project Managers to fill independent consulting positions with our teams nationwide. You can reside anywhere in the U.S. but ideally in one of our primary markets including Seattle, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Dallas, Austin, Charlotte.
Further the leadership skills needed to be successful as a management consultant
Work alongside Point B consultants on critical business and technology initiatives for our customers

If you are a natural leader who enjoys problem-solving and process improvement, then our IT Project Manager roles might be right up your alley. Point B customers look for individuals who have executive presence, are comfortable communicating with various stakeholders and teams, and work well dealing with ambiguity. PMP certification and Agile experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of IT/systems/technology-related projects
Lead project teams and/or work-streams
Utilize project management and SDLC methodologies
Escalate issues early and provide concise issue descriptions to upper-level management coupled with recommended paths for resolution
Executive presence and good presentation skills
Dependable and solid follow up with a good ‘customer service’ attitude
Ability to be firm about deadlines
Strong bias for action and a passionate customer focus
Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Tech, Engineering, IT, or similar
Enterprise IT project/program management
Agile/Scrum certifications and/or training ideal
Manage all aspects of IT/systems/technology related projects
Led project teams and/or work-streams
Utilized project management and SDLC methodologies
Ability to work in a matrix managed environment where many resources are embedded part time on a particular team
Escalate issues early and provide concise issue descriptions to upper level management coupled with recommended paths for resolution
Executive presence and good presentation skills
Dependable and solid follow up with a good ‘customer service’ attitude
Ability to be firm about deadlines
A strong bias for action and a passionate customer focus
Past experience as independent consultant or with a consulting firm
Financial services, healthcare, life sciences and retail industry experience is a plus
Experience with implementing common technologies. Examples are ServiceNow, Tableau, Workday, Salesforce, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology discipline preferred
Agile / Scrum certifications and/or training ideal
