Position Description

The IT Project Manager coordinates multiple cross-functional projects from ideation to delivery. The right candidate will ensure that projects meet defined business objectives and are delivered without a hitch.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an engineering organization or relevant experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certification in Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black) preferred
• Working knowledge of the technology stack components that make up modern web applications and cloud infrastructure
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to be able to predict challenges and obstacles
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration software system
• Experience in a cloud-first, Agile development, and CI/CD technologies
• Displays an entrepreneurial instinct for identifying value and pragmatic solutions
• Ability to manage diverse activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments and operating with speed, accuracy, and strong judgment
• Ability to operate independently as well as influence across the technology organization

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of the IT project portfolio and roadmap
• Coordinate activities of IT projects to ensure established milestones are accomplished on time and in accordance with company objectives
• Monitor all IT project activities, acting to avoid problems or delays to ensure the accuracy and quality of project deliverables
• Ensure project artifacts (charters, ticketing, support documentation) are all addressed during the project lifecycle
• Ensure appropriate product-related training and documentation are made available to all stakeholders
• Manage IT dashboards and reporting of key performance indicators and project status
• Hosts regular technical team meetings to help address any questions or challenges regarding upcoming projects
• Conduct discussions with personnel at all levels in order to get feedback on project requirements
