Currently, we are looking for an IT Project Manager in the Human Services Systems and Technology unit in any of our office locations or fully remote. Under supervision, IT Project Managers lead and manage tasks and projects throughout the company for clients such as: The U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Education, Health and Human Services, Justice, and Labor, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and numerous state and local agencies. They are responsible for meeting project objectives by providing the guidance and direction needed to remain on schedule and on budget. IT Project managers make critical project decisions about planning, managing, and closing out moderately complex projects and lead process-oriented tasks to contribute to excellence in project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify relevant stakeholders and communicate effectively with them.
  • Identify business requirements and prepare detailed project plans.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Plan and execute projects based on client priorities and project scope.
  • Manage resource availability and allocation as they pertain to projects.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate risks and issues to management as needed.
  • Manage relationships with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.



Position Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Hold a B.A. or B.S. in a relevant field (business, computer science, economics, engineering, management, operations, or public policy).
  • Possess 2-4 years of experience in a high-intensity project management environment.
  • Agile/Scrum project management experience required
  • Have comprehension of and experience with applying project management best practices.
  • Agile/PMP Certifications desired.

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $70,000 - $90,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.

Various federal agencies with whom we contract require that staff successfully undergo a background investigation or security clearance as a condition of working on the project. If you are assigned to such a project, you will be required to obtain the requisite security clearance.
