Purpose:
The Project Manager will manage multiple projects for Operations.

Accountabilities:

• Facilitates the advancement of multiple parallel work streams while delivering policy conversion projects requiring cross functional IT/business resources.
• Manages deliverables to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Manages project resource demand and allocations in accordance to defined EPMO metrics.
• Manages the planning and delivery of projects through a gated process, from initiation through delivery and project close, meeting scope, costs and schedules as approved per project plan.
• May lead multiple projectswith accelerated timelines within IT using Agile/Iterative methodologies.
• Mediates conflicting priorities and delays between dependent work streams.
• Partners with Agile project teams to define deliverables andplan sprint milestones.
• Delivers projects effectively with limited oversight including: developing attainable project plans with key milestones, understanding project interdependencies, proactively identifying and managing resource demand & conflict and ensuring projects achieve measurable outcomes.
• Delivers projects within defined fundamental project metrics (scope, schedule and cost).
• Develops, oversees and measures the project's work effort on the following knowledge areas: Scope, Time, Communications, Cost, Resources & Risk.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years of progressive responsibility & success within Project Management.
• Experience with software upgrade projects and/or insurance product projects strongly preferred.
• Previous insurance or financial services experience preferred.
• Skilled with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.).
• Demonstrated strong understanding of Project Management and SDLC processes.
• Experience in Agile methodology required.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira application preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
