IT Project Management Senior Advisor

Global Intake Planning & Delivery (GIPD), Global Infrastructure & Operations

Role Summary/Key Objectives:

As a key member of the Global Intake Planning and Delivery (GIPD) team, the Intake & Enablement Lead (IT Project Management Senior Advisor) will be an advocate for the delivery management function across the various Intake channels within Global Infrastructure and Operations (GI&O). The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring visibility across all programs/projects in the GIPD Delivery Management portfolio and pipeline, creating a full purview of connectivity and dependencies across all programs. The Intake & Enablement Lead will be the first point of contact as programs requiring delivery management are introduced into the intake process and will work with the intake team to understand when and why a Delivery Manager is being requested, rationalizing the request against specific criteria and ensuring the right Delivery Manager is aligned to the program/project. The candidate will work closely with the Delivery Management Directors to ensure they have real-time view into capacity, developmental opportunities, and hiring needs.

Specific areas of responsibility are:

  • Ensure visibility into pipeline: The Intake & Enablement Lead will be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive picture across programs/projects coming through all intake channels - (Global Intake, Business Funded, IT Foundational Funding, Baseline Funding, etc.)
  • Build connectivity across intake and in-flight programs/projects: The incumbent will be responsible for building connectivity to what is in the pipeline, aligning potential impacts across the proposed projects as well as in-flight programs/projects
  • Be work intake liaison: The Intake & Enablement Lead will be an active participant in intake processes to ensure Delivery Management aspects are considered, captured, and included in the transition to the assigned Delivery Manager
  • Provide demand management: The Intake & Enablement Lead will be responsible for guaranteeing Delivery Managers are supporting programs based on defined criteria and ensuring the Delivery Manager is responsible for driving delivery of the expected value to the business/organizational.
  • Be Subject Matter Expert for delivery management for defining/refining Intake processes: The Intake & Enablement Lead will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise to ensure the correct delivery management criteria is adopted for the intake process; the candidate will also provide strong advocacy from delivery management to get the right work and details at the right time
  • Analyze and manage capacity: The Intake & Enablement Lead will ensure optimal capacity/load balancing across all projects. The candidate will provide insight and support to DM leadership in aligning the right resources to the right projects (i.e., stronger DMs supporting higher profile programs, identifying good programs for stretch opportunities/career progression opportunities, etc.)
  • Consult with leadership on hiring: The Intake & Enablement Lead will consult with GIPD Delivery Management Leadership on hiring needs. Using information learned through the intake processes, the candidate will provide insights on the types of programs/projects that are in the pipeline and/or trends seen with recent intake initiatives and share with hiring leaders to ensure the right candidates are recruited.
  • Facilitate Delivery Manager needs call across GIPD delivery organization
  • Be point of contact for Delivery Management Value Story: The Intake & Enablement Lead will be the point of contact to tell the overarching story of the value delivery management provides to the enterprise.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $111,500 - $185,900, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
