Internal Change Manager

The Change Program Manager is responsible for designing, developing and executing change management strategies for multiple high priority strategic business initiatives. They also develop and manage a change roadmap to bring visibility to timing, sequence, and impact to associates of each initiative. This job also supports the design, development and execution of change plans to support ongoing ‘rhythm of the business’ (ROB) activities. They integrate initiative related communication activities into existing communication channels, integrating messages and reoccurring themes across communications where possible.
The Change Program Manager partners with the Senior Director of Change and Communications to provide input into portfolio management processes, resourcing of initiatives and development of firmwide associate personas. They will also work closely with the Director of Communications to ensure communication activities comply with the firmwide communication strategy. Together they identify opportunities for additional communications activities or channels.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
Partners with others on the Change and Communications team to define a structured, comprehensive change approach to bring consistency to the way we drive change at Point B, and to build and maintain the roadmap of change initiatives and key ROB activities
Develops and executes change strategy for individual strategic initiatives and identifies connections/dependencies across initiatives and ROB activities
Provides input into the firmwide heat map to help manage volume and complexity of change impacts to individual persona groups
Utilizes modern human centered change management techniques including but not limited to personas, empathy maps, journey mapping and experience design to develop and drive more effective change and communication strategies. Provides coaching to team members on the value of these techniques
Identifies change and communications strategies to support day to day functional operations (I.e., Solutions, Services, Operations) and coordinates execution support
Contributes to the overarching firmwide story to help associates understand how each change supports our strategy, and clearly outlines the why, what they can expect and the role they should play in making the initiatives a success
Builds relationship with key business leaders and partners with them to drive initiatives through our change process and to appropriately pace and sequence proposed changes
Drives leadership awareness of and engagement in initiatives, equips them to lead the change and contribute to their sense of ownership and accountability for success
Ensures consistency of all messaging and branding by following firm editorial style / branding guidelines
Develops and maintains the team change methodology, including the identification and sharing of best practices
Provides change management coaching to Communications and Change Analyst
Provides input to change portfolio management and resource management
Supports team efforts and builds authentic relationships with individuals in work groups and teams
Consistently demonstrates and lives Point B cultural tenets and values

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:
B.A. or B.S. degree required
6-10 year change management and communications experience
Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Familiarity with HTML, WordPress, InDesign and Publisher preferred
Experience working with a breadth of types of change (i.e., technology, process, cultural, product) and driving prioritization and decision making across multiple stakeholder groups
Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts, hone in on the “what’s in it for me” and influence the design of a positive user experience
Demonstrated ability to identify and manage the execution of appropriate change tactics (e.g., impact assessment, stakeholder analysis, leadership alignment, change networks, etc.)
Strong understanding of Point B businesses and operations (professional services experience required)
Experience being an effective member of a team
Experience with editorial process, campaign management, engaging target audiences, and driving call to action
