The Stock Plan business philosophy is to provide high touch service using a team approach. As dictated by the client's needs, their team will be comprised of a Stock Plan Director team as well as dedicated members from our Relationship Management, Service Delivery, and Financial Reporting areas.

The candidate will be part of the US Stock Plan service group within the Morgan Stanley at Work organization. The US Stock Plan service group is responsible for the engagement, onboarding and day to day service management of corporate clients and their equity administration plan terms and associated service offerings. The candidate will work cross-functionally towards a goal of successful end-to-end delivery of implementation projects bringing a willingness to do what it takes to get implementation projects done in a timely and accurate manner. The candidate will build exceptional relationships with both immediate and cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment focusing on all aspects of client readiness and support for clients as they move through the full lifecycle of implementation activities onto the Shareworks equity administration platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Using established tools & processes, act as the key contact between new clients and internal stakeholders to establish project requirements and timelines
  • Leading and executing new client project implementations and providing regular status updates
  • Responsible for the successful end to end delivery of software Implementation projects, including but not limited to:
  • Engaging in scoping and requirements gathering for new and existing projects as necessary; understanding customer requirements and relaying this back to the project delivery team or software development team where appropriate
  • Providing regular reporting to applicable managers, executive team, and the client as required
  • Auditing, monitoring and leading the correction process to ensure project and resource data is maintained consistently in accordance with standards and methodologies
  • Actively participating in resolution of issues and conflicts, internally as well as with clients and other vendors where appropriate; escalating issues in an appropriate, timely, and tactful manner
  • Results-oriented and driven to ensure successful completion of the projects on time, on budget and within the defined scope while leading through influence and with solid soft skills and tact
  • Ensure that their portfolio of projects is exceptionally well documented and meets all defined goals
  • Achieving an expert understanding of Shareworks platform to support clients and internal stakeholder's technical queries
  • Attaining a high level of knowledge on equity-based compensation plans and their implementations to be seen as a knowledgeable advisor to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Keeping current with new product updates and their integration into application and operations
  • Ability to transition lessons learned and skillsets to future client implementation engagements
  • Assist in the RFP and Sales process to win new mandates as required



Qualifications:

Basic

  • 5+ years' experience in stock plan benefits, financial services and/or SAAS implementations



Preferred

  • Strong client engagement skills with fortune 500 companies
  • In depth knowledge of Equity Compensation, CEP a plus
  • Shareworks/Equity Edge Online and/or relative administrative software knowledge a plus
  • Salesforce and Jira application knowledge a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or similar field is preferred
  • Leadership: Ability to take charge and lead projects with minimal supervision or follow-up. Leads by example and models the way for the broader team
  • Business Knowledge: Depth of knowledge relative to equity plan administration and recordkeeping software applications
  • Analytical Skills: Well-developed problem-solving skills necessary to research and trouble shoot inquiries through continual interaction with all departments
  • Program & Project Management/ Support: Strong organization skills and project management disciplines. Ability to work under periods of high pressure with tight timeframes. Flexibility to work weekends
  • Software: Strong knowledge and use of MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Access & Outlook); Knowledge of Stock Plan software; Salesforce and Jira applications
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary to Interact with external clients and internal stakeholders
