If you have experience leading HCM (Human Capital Management) projects, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our St. Louis, Missouri location, you will lead projects for the HCM applications for Emerson Business Units in a global environment with specific focus on Benefits, Absence Management, Time and Labor, and Compensation Management. You will aid Business Unit leaders in satisfying business requirements for implementations and other improvements. In addition, you will help the Operations team in resolving production issues, as needed. We look forward to seeing your application!

AS HRIS PROJECT MANAGER II, YOU WILL:

  • Provide project planning and management for new customer implementations, and implementation of new application modules and functionality in an exciting environment.
  • Ensure completion of the standard set of implementation documentation
  • Own the configuration of the application based Emerson requirements and standards for HCM modules.
  • Act as liaison between the newly implemented business units and HRIS support resources
  • Assist the Business Unit as requested in developing an organizational change program for the HRIS services and related internal process changes.
  • Recommend process improvements in business area (with a focus on areas where technical solutions enable improvements) by demonstrating Oracle delivered functionality
  • Use knowledge of HCM modules to test, implement, train, and document functional application configurations in compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Provide support within the HRIS organization to the Business Units
  • Research new Oracle functionality to improve customer usage of Oracle. Develop the plan for and assist in testing the new configuration before it is migrated in production
  • Liaison between new customer/existing customer and project resources from Corporate IT, HRIS Operations, Corporate Service departments (Tax, Pension), and Business Unit Finance departments (Costing, AP)
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience leading ERP implementations, advising, or business support experience



PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience in implementation of Oracle HCM and with large change initiatives with specific focus on Benefits, Absence Management, Time and Labor and Compensation Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Project and MS Office Suite
  • PMP certification desired
