Position can be based onsite at Sullivan Lake, MN (Columbia Heights) campus or remote in the US.

In this exciting role, you will lead and execute projects within Finance Shared Services teams that will improve quality and efficiency of current processes. You will serve as a liaison between Sourcing, FSSC Ops teams and internal and external IT organizations and actively lead projects for business entity integrations or adoption of new systems/tools. You will also lead various global projects to align systems and processes within Finance Shared Service Centers.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Regional lead for global projects impacting Finance Shared Services
  • Manages on-boarding of additional service scope - acquisitions and integrations as well as divestitures and new service offerings
  • Independently manage system upgrades and/or implementations across Shared Services, with IT and with the legacy site, where applicable
  • Independently manage projects which are global in nature aligning processes and systems within the regional shared service centers.
  • Accountability for the success of respective functional area(s)
  • Organization and oversight of core and extended project team for respective functional area.
  • Management and monitoring of risks, issues, schedule and budget for respective area
  • Coordination with business and IT leads to define requirements, identify gaps between current state and FSS business processes and develop solutions
  • Coordination across functions and business areas to drive resolution of issues and mitigation of risks
  • Active participation in program planning activities
  • Coordination of communication delivery and assessment
  • Coordination of data mapping and data validation
  • Accountability for delivery and coordination of user acceptance testing and participants
  • Accountability for training development and delivery
  • Coordination of readiness assessment survey and action planning
  • Post-implementation assessment and action planning to remediate issues
  • Leading functional workstream meetings (schedule, set agenda, define deliverables, owners and due dates, designate a scribe, etc.)
  • Management of extended team members in preparing project definition and deliverables
  • Communication to workstream and larger community of functional stakeholders
  • Coordination of the definition of the business processes, documenting / mapping those processes for future state
  • Identify opportunities for automation and work with managers to implement
  • Provide day-to-day support and configuration for systems
  • Lead and/or coordinate process improvement exercises (e.g. Kaizen)

 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of work experience in finance, accounting, project/program management, business analyst, and/or financial systems experience (5+ years with an Advanced degree)

Nice to Have

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management or related area
  • Experience integrating businesses into a shared service organization
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with all levels of management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Project, Visio, & Excel (pivots, formulas, charts)
  • Experience with reporting (Business Objects, Spotfire, etc)
  • Working knowledge of SAP
