Some roles can work virtual full-time if they are not near a Tech Hub, but that is dependent upon the needs of the position and amount of collaboration required.

Job Summary
Responsible for strategic leadership and direction for key strategic programs, providing an overall program management strategy and providing direct program management and consulting, as necessary. Build and maintain organizational knowledge as it relates to the function of managing projects and programs. Provide leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions and contributes to the development of the organization's business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals across different disciplines and teams and is expected to provide leadership to both direct and matrixed resources. Accountable for highly complex programs having significant impact to the business and/or technology roadmap.
Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes program processes as necessary and oversees program/department budgets as assigned.
  • Develops cross-functional plans, objectives and strategies. Interprets company and department goals into functional goals and strategies and directs cross-functional teams to meet key deliverables.
  • Oversees staffing, including recruitment and retention, leadership and professional development and performance management.
  • Acts as the program point of contact for senior management stakeholders.
  • Recommends and implements corrective action across organizations, as necessary, to improve program performance.
  • Oversees training, hiring, performance management and development of staff. Performs staff performance assessments, salary reviews and bonus awards.
  • Works with other organizations to continuously improve business processes.
  • Keeps abreast of new developments in project management methodologies, agile practices, best practices, industry standards and strategic technology focus as appropriate.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Likely requires travel.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
