Intel's Accelerated Computing and Graphics (AXG) is on an exciting journey to deliver unprecedented computing power to everyone. As a new business within Intel, you will have the opportunity to help influence and shape AXG's journey as a key team member focused on delivering Intel's exascale technologies. In the role as exascale program director, you will be responsible for the customer engagement with US National Laboratories and Department of Energy. You will be responsible for matrix managing a high-priority program with a customer-centric focus and results driven work ethic. The job is in a fast-paced environment and requires a dynamic individual with high tolerance for ambiguity to succeed. High level responsibilities include:
Lead the Exascale MRC; develop all internal executive communications, recommendations, and escalations
Partner with Exascale technical leadership, Intel Federal Program Management, and key x-Intel stakeholders to align on all deliverables and drive program to mutual success
Drive Exascale roadmap execution on time and within budget; proactively escalate and resolve open issues or risks to the schedule
Manage customer communications and define/execute executive level reviews with customer and Intel Leadership Team as needed
Qualifications:
The ideal Exascale program director will leverage a combination of business acumen, organizational savvy, technical knowledge, and Program Management expertise to deliver the highly complex program. Additional experience in the following areas is desired:
High-Performance CPU/GPU, Product Management, Customer support, and IT related product development (high-, and low-level designs).
Product/Program Management expertise with demonstrated experience managing complex programs with geographically dispersed, multidisciplinary, and matrix teams.
Has advanced understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated product development, and utilizes knowledge to accelerate program completion. This includes understanding of silicon, firmware, and software development methods.
Experience working cross functionally with Architecture Engineering, Sales, Software Engineering, Product and Marketing teams
Strong executive presence with exceptional communication skills - proven relationship builder who collaborates effectively across organizational boundaries to achieve a broader organizational impact.
Demonstrated customer relationship management and stakeholder management with proven influencing and leadership skills w/ individuals, organizations, technologies, and industry.
Ability to crystalize complex messages and present to and influence at the highest levels of management and with customers.
Desire to lead, remain calm under pressure, and adapt program through ambiguity.
Education
Demonstrated high performer with 5+ yrs Director level experience and a strong track record of delivering high impact results on time and within budget.
MBA desired or Masters/PhD in CS, CE, EE or related hard science field
10+ years of experience HPC product management, program management in platform/product development.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$143,640.00-$229,600.00
