About the Role

We are looking for a bright, kind and goal-oriented individual to lead Stitch Fix’s equity programs. In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders in our Finance, Accounting, Legal,  People & Culture and Compensation teams.  You will drive communication and education  to ensure our employees are well educated and informed about our equity program and processes.  You will also manage a paralegal / contract administrator and train them on equity to help you administer our programs.  This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment where your work will have a direct impact on our employees. 

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Own all aspects of Stitch Fix’s equity programs
  • Manage all participant equity plan transactions (grants, exercises, terminations, leaves, etc.) and ensure that they are correctly processed by Schwab
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement improvements and process changes to our equity programs and the stock administration function.
  • Work closely with outside service providers, including Schwab, our equity systems vendor, AST, our transfer agent, and broker service providers. 
  • Partner with our Accounting, Payroll, Finance, Legal, People & Culture and Compensation teams
  • Provide  analysis and modeling in collaboration with Compensation team
  • Manage a paralegal / contract administrator and train them on equity administration to help you administer our programs.
  • Drive communication to employees regarding equity awards programs, policies, and program changes.
  • Support expansion of equity program to international employees as the Company continues to expand internationally
  • Support SEC, UK Companies Act and other reporting requirements
  • Prepare and reconcile quarterly and ad-hoc custom reports on share plan activity; maintain company capitalization table
  • Maintain supporting documents for internal/external SOX auditors and respond accurately, thoroughly and timely to requests for data.
  • Manage Section 16 reporting and Company 10b5-1 plans, prepare legal opinions for transactions. 
  • Manage the equity grant approval process with the CEO and Compensation Committee.  
  • Monitor trading window dates and pre-clearance for stock trades for certain directors and officers

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 5+ years experience as an in-house stock administrator.
  • Experience managing an equity administration system, such as Schwab
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) preferred
  • You have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks and projects, and track and follow up on projects.
  • You are a collaborative team player and have partnered with internal and external contacts at all levels.
  • You have the ability to work independently, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, maintain patience in high pressure situations and take initiative where appropriate.
  • You have strong customer service focus and flexibility.
  • You must be comfortable in a fast paced, casual environment.
  • You have managed highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity.
