Enterprise Project Manager - Job Description

The Enterprise Project Manager (PM) must be a strong communicator and can assess complex scenarios and make recommendations to resolveissues in the best interest of the organization.Implements technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining therequirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders across the business. Assesses situations to determine the importance, urgency,and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.Leads project teams in the execution of large, enterprise projects across the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be an example for our people by demonstrating Medical Solutions' Core Values in everything you do
  • Project Management
  • Participate in project scope planning
  • Create detailed project plan that identifies and sequences tasks with balanced resources and dependencies
  • Communicate project plan with stakeholders
  • Be the conduit amongst business owners, development team, and third parties regarding software functionality during the software development life cycle
  • Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plan to ensure agreed deadlines are met
  • Work closely with multiple departments regarding resource availability and task updates
  • Efficiently manage the project plan and adjust accordingly with

Job Qualifications:

  • Be an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
  • A minimum of five years of project management experience
  • In depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, both waterfall and Agile
  • In depth knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
  • In depth knowledge or understanding of the following software applications: Microsoft Project, O365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Experience with large, complex projects that cross business units
  • Executive presence and ability to influence
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven self-starter and creative problem solver
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong orientation to execution
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in an effective, non-technical manner
  • Ability to positively influence others to achieve the results that are in the best interest of the organization
  • Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
  • Ability to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem

Preferences:

  • Superior customer service skills with a drive to exceed user expectations
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years project management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Scrum master certification (CSM)
  • Life-long learner
  • Passion for work and family
