Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned Programs, Partners, Territories, and Distributors. Serve as a dedicated focal to drive partner participation in Sales Incentive programs
  • Key resource for guidance and participation growth for assigned Business Partners
  • Reviewing Partner Deal Registrations to determine eligibility status, following program regulations and rules
  • Communicate with Partners and IBMers to answer program question via email and phone
  • Resolve Business Partner questions/issues regarding Deal Registration and Payment Claims in a fair and equitable fashion
  • Proactively educate Business Partners and IBM teams on Incentive Programs to promote understanding and drive Partner participation of programs
  • Work with extended teams such as Operations and Payment teams to facilitate registrations and payment processing
  • Review Claims and Sampled Opportunities sales documentation to ensure they meet program guidelines.
  • Manage daily work queues to meet service standards
  • Work with peers on delegated projects as assigned by management.
  • Successfully manage partner / territory conflicts
  • Timely and accurate assessments of business partner issues. Engages appropriate teams to resolve compliance, registrations, approvals and payment issues to Business Partners' satisfaction
  • Own business partner relationships and be accountable to those partners


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to concisely communicate program details and requirements to Business Partners
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize, multi-task, and provide timely and accurate deliverables
  • Understanding of channel sales and role of business partners as a route to marke


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Possesses in depth knowledge of Channel Partner programs supported. Understands organizational and program resources, priorities and policies
  • Uses tools and knowledge to gain efficiencies, works independently, displays confidence in decision making
  • Must be strong at analyzing facts and quick decision making.
