Purpose:

This position is responsible for enabling the Ecommerce team to perform at their best by leveraging Agile best practices. They will be partnering with product owners and technical teams to facilitate scrum ceremonies, daily standups, grooming sessions, sprint planning, and demos with key stakeholders. This position will have responsibility to manage multiple projects being executed by multiple teams and use independent judgment and discretion to implement Agile methodologies to accomplish business objectives. Additionally, this role will require collaboration and negotiation with stakeholders in cross-functional departments.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Agile delivery experience, preferably within a scaled agile environment
  • Experience in managing complex projects across multiple teams with record of multiple successful delivery of projects.
  • Experiencing with JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience Scrum Mastering multiple teams simultaneously
  • In depth knowledge and mastery of base Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban
  • In depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
  • Refinement, story splitting, story boarding, estimation, velocity, retrospection and workshop facilitation skills
  • Strong negotiation, conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and verbal + written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of cross functional and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
  • Agile, and Scrum certifications are a plus (CSM, PSM, CSP, SAFe)
  • Stay up-to-date on agile best practices



Essential Job Functions:

  • Scrum Master the Ecommerce Team using Scrum and Kanban best practices
  • Make decisions regarding project needs and priorities to design and adjust project assignments, flow, and timelines.
  • Process information and demands from various sources and competing interests to create project execution strategies.
  • Run Daily Standups, facilitate Sprint Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo and Sprint Retrospective Sessions.
  • Coach the team to higher levels of agile maturity.
  • Partner with the Ecomm Production Leadership Team on the prioritization of stories and Sprint Planning.
  • Identify and track dependencies on the Team's multiple JIRA Boards
  • Capture, compile and report on any and all key Sprint Metrics
  • Report on Sprint Results
  • Work with partner stakeholders to track progress on deliverables and to communicate and adjust deadlines and timelines as needed
  • Drive the resolution of team impediments to various projects and escalate risks as needed
  • Run weekly collaboration meeting between Ecommerce and Marketing Teams
  • Make decisions and recommendations to manage projects to their budget expectations



WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL & ENVIRONMENT):

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.



PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work - Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
