What you will do:

Support the establishment of framework, organization, processes, and systems for Global Operations PMO. As the business partner to Global Operations functions including L&D, CI/JCMS, Sophisticated Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, S&OP and EH&S this position is responsible for guiding, training, and supporting partners in the strategy development (Hoshin), SAP/roadmap, governance, planning, and execution of Global Operations programs/projects. In addition, guide and support other Global Product functions as needed.

How you will do it:

  • Support the establishment of the Global Operations PMO Organization.
  • Lead global governance for programs/projects/change management in operations functions. Establish cadence for team member engagement. Align strategies with Ops, PBU functions and central functions such as Engineering.
  • Establish standardized process, systems and reporting for all operations strategies and program/project status and attainment.
  • Define and ensure program/project financial contribution to the top and bottom line of Global Products. Drive significant short, medium- and long-term value to Global Products.
  • Lead, guide, and support functions through their development of strategy and roadmap plan.
  • Establish qualification requirements, select, train, and provide mentorship to matrix reporting Program/Project Managers for operation functions.
  • Lead portfolio of programs/projects and their matrixed Program/Project Managers to meet the needs of the functional roadmap plans. Establish a core group of concentrated, trained professional PMs.
  • Develop, stabilize, and train/deploy the playbooks for all operations function program/project management needs including Execution, Business Process Development and Deployment, JCMS Deployment, BCP and OCM.
  • Lead and guide functions to integrate SOPs/MPs/Playbooks into comprehensive JCMS process.
  • Govern, guide and support PMs' planning of functional program/projects.
  • Govern, guide, support and report PMs' execution of functional program/projects and ensure scope is delivered with planned resources and schedule/financials are attained.
  • Equal ownership with principal functions for planning, execution, and results of all program/projects.
  • Govern, guide, and support other Global Product function's program/projects as needed.


What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree and Advanced degree in Engineering/Program Management required and MBA preferred.
  • 20+ years related program/project management experience in operations.
  • 15+ years' experience in a large company leading global initiatives
  • 10+ years supervisory experience coordinating large scale projects, global teams, project managers, application leads
  • 5+ years' work experience outside US
  • Demonstrated ability to build Global PMO process, systems, and capability in diverse operational functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects of team/SME, developed internal/external relationship, established cross-team partnership. Experience leading large, sophisticated cross-functional programs.
  • Multi-discipline experience in manufacturing, procurement, materials, product development, finance, project management.
  • Sophisticated program management skills in complex business environments, including ability to coordinate multiple teams in various locations and time zones.
  • Deep project management experience leading large-scale, global implementations. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • Validated project management experience, including handling budget. Experience working at executive committee level. Confirmed experience with quality assurance processes.
  • Passion for leading teams and implementing change.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong negotiation and team-building skills with the ability to build consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among different teams.
  • High interpersonal skills required at all levels. Must be able to interact and impact senior leadership. Excellent command of verbal and written communication (English). Effective presentation style for all levels of team members.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, issue analysis and resolution skills. Highly organized.
  • Validated expertise in manufacturing operations functions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead meaningful priorities with internal clients.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced multicultural global work environment.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple team members and lead competing priorities with internal clients.
  • Ability to gather and address both business and technical requirements. Must be highly motivated.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in the specific skills suited to the role.
