We're a team of top-notch engineers, data scientists and product thinkers, and the Technical Program Management group is the glue that keeps all those interdisciplinary teams coordinated to ship a constant stream of new features into the hands of our more than 100 million members. Our TPM's make continuous improvements to team processes and programs and foster efficient collaboration across Product, Design, Front-End Engineering, Back-End Engineering, Quality Engineering, Security, Legal, Analytics, Business Development, Marketing and anyone else needed to achieve successful program.

What you’ll do:

  • You'll oversee strategic engineering projects from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
  • You'll assist and communicate with executives in the program management and initiative implementation
  • You'll review, design, and work on improvements to department structure, find gaps and help address them
  • You'll improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • You'll lead a team of Technical Program Managers and oversee the OKR process for a large subset of the Engineering organization
  • You'll have full ownership of ensuring the processes we have for technical project management are meeting our needs
  • You'll be an expert at overseeing operational and technical program management at an organizational level, and growing the skills and capacity of their team

Our Ideal candidate:

  • You will have experience in a business management and computer engineering role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration
  • 10+ years of experience working with Engineering teams in a technology company setting.
  • 5+ years managing a team
  • Hyper-growth company experience; Can work in low structure environments
  • You will have organizational, verbal/written, presentation, facilitation experience
  • You will be collaborative, and influential in making progress across multiple partners and teams
  • Experience delivering products in an Agile environment
  • You will work with senior-level leaders and daily contacts alike
  • Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field to understand the processes and project dependencies when working with our engineering teams. Equivalent job experience is acceptable as well
