Job Description

Role Overview ...

The Director, Accolade Ecosystem Partnerships, reporting to the SVP, Platform and Ecosystem Partnership, will help drive the growth and success of Accolade’s ecosystem partners with Accolade customers. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in supporting the commercial objectives to drive revenue and achieve broader P&L objectives in collaboration with solution partners to an existing customer base, possessing an understanding of co-marketing and sales processes.

A day in the life…

  • Provide leadership and work in close collaboration with Accolade’s channel sales teams to successfully manage the full development lifecycle of ecosystem partnerships.
  • Development, presentation and adaptation of underlying business cases and strategies for the selection and integration of solution partners.
  • Working collaboratively with the SVP and senior leadership peers within the Platform and Ecosystem Partnership team to identify, select, negotiate and contract with prospective partners in accordance with the underlying business case(s).
  • Representing to cross-functional stakeholders the key business and technical requirements for the integrated delivery of clinical partner solutions in concert with Accolade core offerings.
  • Working with peers on the Accolade capabilities development team to create and document the cross-functional frameworks, workflow processes, data exchanges and associated metrics for the scalable, repeatable implementation of integrated partnership solutions.
  • Regular peer-peer collaboration with the Platform and Ecosystem Partnership’s commercial go-to-market team to identify opportunities to optimize partner program solutions for current and future customers in order to achieve their underlying business revenue case.
  • Management and communication of the associated key commercial outcomes, metrics and Annual Contract Value (ACV) revenue performance to Accolade business executive stakeholders through integrated sales and operational data, dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Ensuring the on-time delivery and quality of the necessary key cross-functional deliverables from responsible stakeholders in Accolade’s marketing, operations, clinical and technology functions for the launch and continuous delivery of integrated ecosystem partner services.
  • Preparation for and leadership of key strategic partnership relationship/governance meetings.
  • Developing and managing Accolade partner program managers and interns in support of the effective execution of ecosystem related programs and projects.

Qualifications

What we are looking for…

  • MBA Preferred
  • 7+ years of clinical service/product management and/or marketing experience especially with solutions oriented to broader population health management outcomes and value-based care reimbursement models.
  • 2+ Years of Leadership experience including the management of third party products
  • 2+ Years preferred in a business development / client growth support roles
  • Strong financial, business process and marketing background
  • Deep understanding and prior experience with the healthcare technology and health services marketplace.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Intellectual thought leadership on population health innovation
  • Self-starter with ability to lead projects and build new soutions around partner services from the ground up independently
  • Attention to detail, including proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to think strategically and systemically while executing methodically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is a must
  • Comfort in operating with the uncertainty of emerging market opportunities and a proven ability to adapt efforts dynamically with rapidly changing business and market conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use hard data to back up assumptions and develop business cases
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality.
  • Proven ability to dive deep to learn new products, businesses, and the competitive landscape
  • An ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical and non-technical employees
  • A demonstrated record of partnering with teams across internal and external organizations to influence and achieve business results across multiple functional areas which may have different goals
  • Proven creativity in the population health and clinical services offerings that you've helped deliver and commercialize
  • Background or experience in the health insurance industry and/or value-based care delivery models
  • Positive attitude and fit with the Accolade team culture
