About the role:

  • You will be working on projects that involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment.
  • You will coordinate work performed by IT staff, internal customers partners by defining the project requirements, performing feasibility and needs and impact assessments.
  • You also will develop detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
  • Your projects may vary in number, sizes, and complexity.

About the team:
Your team will consist of Project Managers who will be working on small and large customer solution projects for our financial customers throughout the United States
What you will be doing?

  • In this role you will be responsible for knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines using methodologies such as conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and the correct project application
  • You will have knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
  • You will be using your project management skills to drive forward software projects with the assistance of tools such as: MS Project and auxiliary tools, such as earned value database, audit tools, project repository, including risk, issues and action items database, SLIM Estimate, Metrics and Control, PlanView, Platinum Process Continuum
  • You will be managing project budgets and timelines, problem solving, conflict management and ability to set clear and concise expectations
  • You will be meeting with and corresponding with executive level clients and internal executive colleagues.
  • You will be using your negotiation skills and techniques to reach agreement when there are widely differing viewpoints
  • You will be available to travel up to 30% to our customer locations throughout the US


What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Added bonus if you have:
Knowledge of financial services industry
PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate is a plus but not required
