As a Technical Program Manager in an agile Medical Software Product Development environment, you will be working as part of a team of Technical Program Managers, and you will be responsible for planning, tracking, and end to end delivery of complex programs of work. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and sponsors across multiple geographies within the global product development community.

You have an enquiring and learning mindset; you will believe in and apply agile principles; and you will focus on delivering value to customers. You will be facilitating and collaborating across multiple teams involved in delivering multiple programs of work. As a servant leader, your role will include agile coaching and mentoring as well as establishing a continuous plan of action to improve delivery of value.

Note: This is a remote role open to applicants residing in PST or MST within the United States.

Let's talk about Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for program planning and tracking, focusing on regular and timely delivery of value to end customers.
  • As an agile coach you will manage and optimize the flow of work using the principles of agility, facilitate planning sessions and other agile activities, and most importantly be an agile advocate and mentor!
  • Work with product managers, engineering managers, program managers and other stakeholders to ensure team alignment with commitments to the businesses and sync points with other teams.
  • Organize and lead program status and working meetings, and prepare and distribute progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage risks and issues and be accountable for escalating as required, ensuring resolution to program issues, managing resource constraints, dependencies and timing challenges and syncing dependencies across teams.
  • Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally
  • Provide status reports highlighting accomplishments, plans, and issues across all assigned programs
  • Manage and release software in a regulated environment.
  • Manage software release activities and documentation, including coordination with all applicable stakeholders
  • Manage and communicate the implementation of significant changes to planning objectives, schedule, and product configuration to internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish and regularly review key team metrics including resourcing, and performance trends
  • Ensure the implementation of management systems within your area of responsibility (including health & safety, quality & environmental)



Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • PSM I or CSM
  • PMP is desirable
  • Combination of education and work experience will be considered
  • 2+ years of Program Management experience working directly with multiple agile teams
  • Experience managing programs/projects in highly matrixed agile software development cultures
  • Practical experience and working knowledge of full cycle DevOps teams
  • Experience working in a modern cloud-based software product development environment, with cloud native AWS experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with agile software development tools such as Jira preferred
  • Experience in all phases of the software/project lifecycle, interfacing both with technical teams and business users spanning multiple geographies
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills
  • Adept in problem-solving, facilitating decision making and resolving conflict
  • Experience with scaling agile teams is preferred
  • Experience working with medical devices or a regulated environment is a plus
