DHT Project Manager

Let's talk about the team and the role:

As an agile project manager you will play a hybrid role of project management and scrum master/coach with your team(s). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and sponsors across multiple geographies within the global product development community. By embodying an agile mindset, you will focus on supporting your assigned teams while facilitating and collaborating across teams involved in delivering on a broad program of work. As a servant leader, your role will include agile coaching and mentoring as well as establishing a continuous plan of action to improve the team's success toward commitments and goals.

Let's talk about responsibilities:

• As part of your dual role you will define team scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead team status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports to stakeholders; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects

• As an agile coach you will manage and optimize the flow of work through the principles of agility, facilitate the team planning sessions and other agile activities, and most importantly be the agile advocate and mentor of the team!

• Manage and release software in a regulated environment

• Work with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure team alignment with commitments to the businesses and sync points with other teams

• Be accountable for escalating and ensuring resolution to program issues to stakeholders, dealing with resource constraints, and managing timing challenges and syncing dependencies across teams

• Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally

• Provide team status reports highlighting accomplishments, plans, and issues across all assigned teams

• Manage software release activities and documentation, including coordination with all applicable stakeholders

• Manage and communicate the implementation of significant changes to planning objectives, schedule, and product configuration to internal and external stakeholders

• Formal presentation of program status. Establish and regularly review key team metrics including resourcing, and performance trends planning cadence

• Ensure the implementation of management systems within their area of responsibility (including health & safety, quality & environmental)

Let's talk about qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• Combination of education and work experience will be considered

• PSM I or CSM required, PMP is recommended

• 4+ years of Strong Scrum Master experience working directly with multiple agile teams

• Experience managing programs/projects in highly matrixed agile software development cultures with

• Practical experience and working knowledge of full cycle DevOps teams

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, familiarity with agile software development tools such as Jira

• Experience in all phases of the software/project lifecycle, interfacing both with technical teams and business users spanning multiple geographies

• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

• Outstanding time management and organization skills

• Adept in problem-solving and resolving conflict

• Experience with scaling agile teams is preferred

• Microsoft Project and Excel

• Experience working with medical devices or a regulated environment is a plus
