Department OverviewThe department is responsible for aligning to our North America sales team and our customers to ensure MSI exceeds all metrics related to Product Revenue, Cost, Cash and Customer. This role has specific metric responsibility for customer delinquent backlog, on time delivery, book-ship cycle time and revenue attainment.
Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Plan material to Drive shipsets / sales orders to FSSD (on time delivery) while meeting customer request dates

• Understand revenue risks and be able to communicate risk & recovery actions

• Develop and Drive planning for material allocation decisions

• Proactively communicate any constraints for sales orders, large forecasted orders, general forecast and safety stocks 

• Predict future delinquent backlog and FSSD performance

• Plan and Ensure proper tradeoffs between ocean and air deliveries

• Use data analytics to ensure efficient decision making

• Collaborate with Product and Procurement teams to resolve issues for long lead-time, discontinued or problem products

• Other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain or similar

• 3 or more years work experience related to Material Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Distribution Planning, Operations, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Transportation, Customer Service or similar operational experience within Motorola Solutions.

• Familiarity with Oracle ERP system and G-suite applications a plus.
