Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to help Intel meet customer commitments and transform our planning solutions to improve our leaders ability to better decisions for Intel? The search is over. Join our Corporate Planning Data Solutions and Analytics team.

We are searching for a talented Project Manager to help us on our journey. Our incredibly, talented team has the goal of developing and deploying an integrated and governed data solutions in support of Corporate Planning Group's planning transformation strategy to reduce our monthly reset planning process throughput time by half. This role will responsible for being the project manager for the design, creation and deployment of Data Solutions.

Data Solution Project Manager will be responsible for but not be limited to:

  • Plans, manages and integrates proto-type projects that are in support of the transformation of our planning horizons.
  • Provides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program.
  • Works on problems/tasks in delivery of a specific product or service to identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.
  • Assess risk and identify issues Monitor progress against schedule.
  • Coordinate resources with other functions.
  • Ensure seamless integration with the future state design by ensuring interim business process documentation and adoption are monitored.
  • Ensure, where appropriate, technical requirements for completeness and clarity.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work.
  • Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems ensuring that the solutions are integrated within the future design.
  • Manage projects to meet time, scope and budget constraints while remaining in lockstep with the overarching program roadmap.
  • Lead the project team and is key interface to the project or contributors.
  • Interface with stakeholders and project partners across multiple organizations.
  • Identify and refine project objectives.
  • Creates/tracks/adjusts the project or program schedule.
  • Assess risks and identifies issues and solutions to timely and efficiently achieve program goals or project objectives while maintaining quality standards.
  • Communicate plans, status and help needed to leaders and leadership forums.
  • Understand the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined projects, applies the knowledge to deliverables, and leverages it to accelerate project completion.
  • Demonstrated success in managing stakeholders, contributors and performers.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively work in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Experience in successfully navigating through conflict.
  • Willing to balance stakeholder concerns of the now versus desired end state.



Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of Project Management experience or equivalent work experience where Project Management was a key component; or a Master's Degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile framework and business process design & management.
  • Experience in executive level communication on status, actions, risks, and mitigation and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Project management experience in technology and manufacturing highly desirable and/or sales and marketing.
  • Project management experience in driving change through the use of data and data solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or ProChain.
  • Proficient knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, procurement, sales and marketing, manufacturing processes and related Intel applications.
  • Proficient knowledge of Product Master Data, Bill of Materials, Intel's reporting systems and Intel's financial costing systems e.g. ICOST, IBP/HANA preferred.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
