Job Description

Our Cybersecurity team works diligently to protect NielsenIQ’s software, hardware, and related components from cyber attacks. We’re constantly developing new security systems, analyzing current systems for vulnerabilities, and handling cyber-attacks efficiently and effectively worldwide.

As a Cybersecurity Mergers and Acquisition Project Manager, you will work within the Architecture and Strategy tower. You will be part of a dynamic team of highly-skilled cybersecurity professionals who identify, document, and analyze cyber risks during the M&A process. You will also facilitate cybersecurity efforts to reduce vulnerabilities and integrate M&As smoothly and securely into the NielsenIQ enterprise.

What you’ll do

  • Project manage all cybersecurity efforts during the M&A process 

  • Document interviews of target companies to assess cyber risk and financial impacts of acquisitions

  • Track M&A projects through all phases using Jira 

  • Generate reports and dashboards to enable influence from cybersecurity leadership to eliminate blockers and risks 

  • Facilitate and coordinate the IT and cyber integrations of acquired companies

  • Continually develop and implement process improvements to reduce risk and simplify the M&A process for cybersecurity

We’re looking for people who have

  • B.S. in Cybersecurity, IT Management or related field, or a minimum of 5 years of project management experience.

  • 3 years of project management experience in cybersecurity

  • Understanding of multiple areas of cybersecurity, including identity management, endpoint, network, cloud, application security, and vendor management

  • Experience with Microsoft tools and using Jira for project management 

  • Experience with business process improvement and IT automation 

  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business
