This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA's family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties.Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role is located onsite at our TIAA office in Charlotte, NC, USA but will currently be remote.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 23 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW-Project Manager IT
The ProjectPrm Mgmt job assists with planning, organizing, and controlling resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Under general supervision, this job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to help manage projects for the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Helps to organize project teams by assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements necessary to ensure project is successful.
  • Prepares estimates for the costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of a project.
  • Drafts project plan and monitors progress and performance against this plan.
  • Creates project status updates including cost, timing, and staffing.
  • Assists in identifying and resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
  • Prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred

Senior Scrum Master
The Senior Scrum Master job facilitates a cross functional agile collaborative team in iterative technology development. Under limited supervision, this job coaches the development team of scrum principles, helps the team focus on sprint goals and to achieve their highest performance level to ensure the scrum project is successfully progressed. This job has some foundational knowledge in the specific area in order to advise on scope changes, Quality Assurance and other more technical aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manages stakeholder expectations regarding target scope, schedule and budget.
  • Improves the scrum process and project progress by removing impediments that hinder project progress.
  • Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and iteration meetings.
  • Manages the development tracking system to include product and sprint backlogs.
  • Monitors the progress of the sprint and helps teams estimate iteration deliverables and increase velocity.
  • Fosters self-organization and collaborative scrum team and shelters the team from outside distractions to keep focus mainly on the agreed sprint goals.
  • Ensures scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the development team and stakeholders to maximize the performance of the team.


Required

5 or more years of Scrum Master experience.

Preferred

  • Experience with Agile framework
  • Experience with Jira Tools
  • Working experience with web based applications

Potential Salary: $123.31 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
