Overview:

As a Creative Operations Project Manager you’ll be joining a team that supports Instacart’s growing brand and creative expression. This team is responsible for creating memorable and engaging brand design, visuals, and messaging across marketing, product, and internal & external culture. This role will require a person who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and is able to adapt quickly to demanding changes. We are looking for someone who can manage multiple projects, across various channels (Paid and Owned), and work collaboratively with cross functional teams. This person will manage projects from kick off through deployment, developing timelines and schedules while managing scope creep.

 You’ll establish relationships and work closely with our team of designers, writers, creative directors, program managers, legal, and cross functional partners to coordinate efforts across multiple projects simultaneously. 

About the job:

  • Intake the marketing project request forms, resource, manage, and track the life-cycle of the project 
  • Participate in and facilitate project kick-offs and ideation sessions 
  • Manage project timelines and distill all stakeholder feedback, to hold all teams (core and cross-functional)  accountable for deliverables  
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and changes
  • Manage legal reviews and approvals for all project deliverables
  • Assist in monitoring and assigning creative resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency
  • Manage projects with external vendors, contractors, and agencies as needed to support creative deliverables 

About you:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Marketing project manager in-house or at creative agency 
  • Experience with Wrike or other project management tool(s) 
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity, flexible, and thrive working in a fast-paced environment
  • You are highly organized, detail oriented, while being able to see the big picture
  • You make a great through partner with cross-functional teams
  • You are an excellent and clear communicator
  • You are a highly organized, systems-thinker 
  • You exude a can-do attitude and enthusiasm 
  • You are extremely collaborative and take feedback with a positive and curious attitude 

Preferred experience and skills: 

  • Highly organized with meticulous sense of detail 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand and discuss projects as it relates to timelines and creative deliverables for marketing channels 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, external vendors and agencies 
  • Experience working with creative and legal teams to finalize or renew contracts and SOWs
  • Knowledgeable in process improvement and identifying opportunities to create scalable solutions across diverse range of projects 
  • Proficiency in G Suite Products, Wrike and Slack
