We’re looking for a Council Program Manager to join the People Team!
What You’ll Do:
Oversee and manage global calendar of Council events and retreats
Help build meaningful opportunities for people to come together
Develop internal communications promoting Council engagements including event invitations, biweekly newsletter and other materials as needed
Manage vendors, (including rate negotiation and contract and purchase order creation), develop program content, schedule staffing and execute set-up for in-person Council programming at Snap HQ in Los Angeles
Manage outreach, site scouting, staffing and programming of retreats
globally
Facilitate Councils, as needed
Fulfill other Council duties, as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experienced office administrator
Experienced with program management and balancing partnerships and relationships
Resourceful self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
Possesses excellent critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills
Outstanding attention to detail
Proven track record of managing budgets for departments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Ability to work under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently in a deadline driven environment
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree or equivalent years of experience
5+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience leading or teaching
Proficiency in all programs under Google Drive (including Google Calendar, Sheets, Docs, and Forms)
